- Agreement - We will review process by process and look at things that are working, not working, backlog of enhancements, and architecturally the sustainability of each field. Adriene will schedule these meetings out in advance and will ask the process owner to attend

What is the current process - it consists of:
- coordinating dates and resources (dba's but there other spot releases that require unix sys/winsys - andrea communicates to them for the after 5's)
- confirming packages for release have all approvals
- facilitation
Organizational/behavior challenges
- immediate gratification, resulting in quick deployments to production - cycle of activity
- inconsistent strategies and environment refreshes
- inconsistent business area involvement/capacity
- inconsistent tools used to facilitate migration
- lack of dedicated technical team to coordinate tech or data reqs and/or release implementation plans
- environment strategy challenges (not all the apps have the number of environments she recommends)
- lack of code freeze and integration testing activities
Tool changes
- Deployment Manager, Jenkins, ServiceNow....
- lack of visibility or consistency in tools (there was a hearty conversation around what the release process is and the relationship to change, whether one is a step in the other, if they are parallel processes)
