HPALM and HPQC

HPALM and HPQC are names for the bug tracking system in use at Yale.

We use it for START Replacement, CMDB, and ongoing revisions to service catalog and the platform itself.

The HPALM system is entirely dependent on Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer.

Furthermore, IE must be ran as Administrator, and with several further safety features disabled.

Old QC Job Aid (for reference only)

This document is in the process of being updated and shows the old QC screenshots but over-all the usage of the system remains the same so it’s still good reference.
