How come I can't download files on my Windows Server spinup?

Issue

When using Internet Explorer on Windows Server, attempting to browse certain sites or download files may trigger a security warning.

Solution

1. Open Internet options in IE 11.

2. Go to Security tab.

3. Under Internet zone, click Custom level.

   Open

   

4. Scroll down and enable File download and Active scripting.

   Open

   

5. Click OK to save the settings.
