I found a bug. What do I do?

While we strive our best to prevent issues from happening in Spinup from time to time users may come across something that just isn’t right (a bug). In the event that this does happen please let us know about it! To get in contact with a member of the spinup team you can reach out through one of the following ways listed below:

  • Send an email to spinup@yale.edu

  • Leave a message in the #spinup slack channel over at https://yale.slack.com

  • Create a ticket in Service Now and select Spinup Self-Service as the service offering

What to Include in the Message

The message about the issue should be as detailed as possible including the following:

  • The browser being used

  • The operating system used

  • What were you trying to accomplish at the time the bug occurred

  • Screenshots if possible of the issue

  • Any other pertinent information we should know that would help us recreate and address the issue
