COA Segment Version Notes 4/6/2017

These changes were deployed to Test on 4/6/2017:

Changes affecting both COA Hub Views and COA Segment Service:

• All locations where RefID was previously used, it is now called "Code". This is part of a change to standardize the naming conventions across HCM, PeopleHub, Converter, Validator, and Segment.
  
  • • Note: "Reference ID" is the technical term for how Workday processes the ID/Codes of COA Segments. Inside workday, this is what is actually being submitted for Journals and the "Reference ID" is officially what is the "Code" ex. CC001.
• Views now have Code instead of RefId
• Performance has been improved with a design change in the Database.

Changes affecting the COA Segment Service:

• Input parameters for Endpoint have changed from RefID to Code.

    • New Input:https://gw-tst.its.yale.edu/soa-gateway/COAHub/v1/COASegmentService?coatype=segment&segment=project&code=PJ005544
• XML tags have been shortened and standardized
