Case II. Subscribe dynamically to iCal feeds where view is one of the chosen category.

Dynamic subscription to iCal Feed.
A new feature has been introduced, we have added iCal feed icon on all calendar site. User can use iCal feed feature to subscribe dynamically to iCal feeds using Google Calendar and MS Outlook.
ICal feeds URLs can be generated and it will contain events from today to the next chosen duration of days, example it can be from today to the next 7/15/30/60/180 days.
Subscribe dynamically to iCal feeds using Google Calendar
Case I. Subscribe dynamically to iCal feeds where view defaulted to All
As an example, I am using OPA calendar site.
1. I go to the OPA calendar site http://calendar.yale.edu/cal/opa and by default view is All
2. Looking at right corner of the site,next to search. Click on iCal feed icon and iCal Feed Details window pops up.
Note: Default view is All, no categories
For /yalearts calendar site, iCal Feed icon is left side.
Suppose I want to subscribe to iCal feed for events from today to next 30 days. I click 30-day feed of events. Feed URL and Download Feed will be shown.
sample: http://calendar.yale.edu:80/feeds/feed/opa/ical/today/30days
3. Copy the Feed URL from text field
4. Login to Google Calendar
5. In Google Calendar, click pull down across Other Calendars and choose Add by URL
6. Paste the copied Feed URL in below text box
7. Hit Add Calendar
8. You will get message calendar was imported successfully and all events gets on the Google Calendar.

Case II. Subscribe dynamically to iCal feeds where view is one of chosen category
I am interested for events under a particular category or tag. For example, I want to have all the events under category Family Friendly into Google Calendar.
1. On calendar site click Family Friendly under Categories (left sidebar on calendar site)
2. Click on the iCal/ ics feed icon (right corner of the calendar site, next to search)
Note: For /yalearts calendar site, iCal Feed icon is left side.
3. Choose any one of the radio buttons under Family Friendly
For Example, I choose 60-day feed of events
sample is: http://calendar.yale.edu:80/feeds/feed/opa/ical/today/60days/ViewName=FamilyFriendly
4. Copy the Feed URL and follow the steps from 4 to 8 (refer case I).
Subscribe dynamically to iCal feeds using Microsoft Outlook.
1. To generate Feed URL, follow steps from either of the above cases (I or II)
2. Now open MS Outlook calendar
3. Right click on Other Calendar and select From Internet.
4. Paste the copied Feed URL into new Internet Calendar Subscription location field and hit OK.
5. Hit Yes
