Purpose

The purpose of this application is to allow for easy look up of the current data in the Marklogic database based on an ID. Users can use this application to compare the item’s data in the source system to the item as it is stored in Marklogic after data processing.

Functionality

The search will return the URI of the item as well as several links. The ID Lookup allows users to view items as linked data, JSON, or they can be redirected to the item’s entry in its collection’s website. All links will open in a new tab.

If a search returns no item, an error message will be displayed to the user. It is recommended to try a different ID.

If a link does not redirect the user, an error message will be displayed.

Requirements

  • Users must be on the Yale VPN in order to access the site and any links within the site
