Update NetID Security Information -

Recovery Email (Locked)

UX Comments
  • When the user wants to update their security information they can edit their recovery email and all 5 of their security questions.
  • There is a sub-navigation bar (from the Yale UI Component Library) where the user can pick which section they want to edit. 
  • Before they hit the change button, the text fields are locked.

  • Once they hit the change button, the text fields are now editable with their current recovery email pre-populated in the field.
  • There is now a second field called "Confirm Recovery Email"
    • There is a requirement that has the user enter their possible new recovery email two times before trying to submit it. 
  • When the user hits submit (pending there are no errors) they are taken back to the initial screen where the email field is locked.personal email and click "NEXT" to move on to Step 2 which is Security Questions.
  • The user is required to enter their personal email twice in order to save that as their personal email.

    • When the user navigates to the Security Questions section they can see all 5 security questions they assigned to their NetID account when they first claimed their account (or when they last previously updated them)Before the user hits the "Change" button, all question and answer text fields are locked.is on Step 2, They can edit, add, or remove their security questions.

    • The question are pre-created questions that the user can select from a drop-down menu.
    • The user can fill out their answers through the text field associated with that question.
