Mail handlers allows people to create issues or comment on existing issues via email.
Step-by-step guide
Create a POP/IMAP mail server:
- Click on cogs icon at the top right and select System
- Click on Incoming Mail on the left tab under Mail category
- Under POP/IMAP Mail Servers click on the ADD POP/IMAP Mail Server button
- Fill in the required boxes and press the Add button. The username is the email address and the password is the associated password. You can press the Test Connection button to see if it works.
Create mail handler:
- Under Mail Handlers click on the Add incoming mail handler button
- Fill in the required boxes and click Next
- Fill in everything and press Add or Test to test.
