You then need to click on “finances,” which should show you your funding sources. Click “add a COA” to proceed, and then fill in the necessary information.

If you have more than one COA and you would like to split the cost of your resources among them, you can designate the percentage of the total cost that you would like each COA to cover in the box called “split percentage.”


Image RemovedYou will first need to select the COA type. If you a long string with a "YD" in it, that's a Yale Designated type. If it instead contains a "GR", that's a grant type. Note that at this time we do not support "Splitting" your expenses across multiple COAs.

This would apply to any resources in this particular space. If you prefer to keep things separate, you can also simply have one space for each COA.
