| 1. Report By Single Designation | Checkbox | Used to control the option to pass in a single designation to the report |
| 2. Designation ID | Search List | If (1) is checked, this is enabled other wise disabled. This lets the user to search for one single designation. |
| 3. Report By Selected List Of Designations | Checkbox | Used to control the option to pass in an ad hoc query of designations. |
| 4. Designation Selection | Searc List | If (3) is checked, this is enabled other wise disabled. This lets the user to run the report for more than one designation, enables them to pass in an adhoc query built at designation query view. |
| 5. Report By Advanced Filters | Checkbox | Used to control the option to run the report by passing at least one of the following eight fields: first five are the elements of PTAEO i.e. project, task, award, expenditure type and organization and then there are designation report code1, 2 and use code.The system then looks for all possible combinations of these fields and processes the transactions that are linked to the related designations. |

| 11. Report Code 1 (School/Unit) | Drop down | If (5) is checked, this is enabled otherwise disabled. These are the various schools and units. Only one value can be choosen at a time. Ex: Yale College, School of Medicine, etc. |
| 12. Report Code 2 (Area of Giving) | Drop down | If (5) is checked, this is enabled otherwise disabled. Only one value can be choosen at a time. Ex: Current Use, Current Restricted, etc. |
| 13. Use Code | Drop down | If (5) is checked, this is enabled otherwise disabled. These are the funds. Only one value can be choosen at a time. Ex: Lectureship, fellowship, etc. |
| 14. Select Open Pledges Only | Checkbox | If this is checked, the report processes only the transactions that are pledges and still have a balance due at the time of running the report. |
| 15. Detail Dollar Limit | Numeric field | This enables the user to process the transactions above a certain dollar range, for example if a value of 100 dollars is entered, we would only see the respective transactions that are equal to above 100 dollars. Default value is zero dollars. |
| 16. Custom Title | Text field | This lets the user to enter a text field which is then displayed in the header of the report. |
